Smiling back at him, she couldn’t help but show that she was glad to hear that. She knew he’d be fine. He’s strong and he’d be fine most of the time. Upon hearing the question from Mukuro, Chrome blinked. Mukuro wouldn’t mind it if she didn’t tell him. He wasn’t the type to force his authority on other people.
Deciding to just tell him the truth, she intertwined her fingers together; a habit that she would do whenever she’s uncomfortable with something. No, she wasn’t uncomfortable because of Mukuro, but because of the tense atmosphere between them. Why must she make everything awkward with everyone?
“Um.. Everyone has been k-kind to me.. B-Boss and the other guardians check up on me s-sometimes.. I also met some new people, such as… some Arcobalenos.. and the Tomaso family boss…” She explained, wondering how Mukuro’s reaction would be.
Mukuro watched her body language, translating it slowly with a plain look on his face. The uncomfortable atmosphere, tense figure, the way she twined her fingers together… his eyebrow twitched.
He nodded as she spoke, listening to her words and not interrupting. This was her world, the one he had only just recently been thrown back into. When she finished speaking he hummed, a prelude to talking.
“You seem to be having… is it fun? Tsunayoshi told me he’d watch over you, so I would hope for his sake he kept his promise… But why, if you’ll answer, are you so tense? Have I done something to cause this atmosphere between us?”
